I’ve finally got around to upgrading the copy of WordPress that powers this blog from the rather ancient version 1.5x that I had been using, to the latest stable release. The main improvement, from my perspective, is that it now comes with a plugin to automatically filter out the hundreds of spam comments that I was having to deal with each week.
With less time spent on spam fighting, maybe I’ll find the time to actually post here more frequently. Then again, knowing how much of a procrastinator I am… maybe not 😉
Hi Greg,
Sorry for going OT but I liked your entry at http://blog.mozilla.com/faaborg/2007/06/28/humanized-puzzler-firefox-tabs/ could this be made into a ff2/3 extension. If it already is just send me the link to it. That is a cool addition/way to use ff tabs without cluttering the tab bar. Good luck
Regards,

Hi Shirish,
First of all I’m a “Mark” not a “Greg”, so you might be thinking of someone else’s entry.
My own entry is the one described in detail at http://wiki.mozilla.org/index.php?title=Markc:Firefox_Tab_Mockups – I suppose I really should blog about that at some point.
Yes, in theory I see no reason why it couldn’t be made into a Firefox extension. There are already Expose-like extensions for Firefox, and my ideas just take that basic premise and extend them for more power and flexibility. Unfortunately, however, I don’t know of any extensions that implement these ideas at present.
