The Greys

We’ve decided to get a bit self-indulgent with this strip, because The Greys has now been online for a year. Yes, 12 whole months of fortnightly comics – plus a couple of bonus strips in-between.

Each and every one of those strips has contained an Easter Egg, but we’re not naive and know that very few people are interested enough to download the source files to go egg hunting. Nevertheless, over the past year the Easter Eggs have become more and more sophisticated, but also easier to find. We put a lot of time and effort into them – probably too much as they occasionally take longer to create than the strip they’re associated with. They’re usually chosen to enhance the main strip, to add an extra joke or two, or sometimes to turn the final punchline completely on its head. If you like The Greys then you’re really only getting half the story if you don’t look for the Easter Eggs.

By way of encouragement we thought we’d give you a glimpse of what you’ve been missing. Hence this strip. It’s not intended to be a laugh-out-loud comic in its own right. It’s simply our way of showing off just some of the characters that have appeared in our Easter Eggs over the past year.

So that’s the end of Season 1. We hope you’ll be back in a fortnight for the first strip of Season 2 – we’ve got some particularly good comics lined up for the next few weeks. Now that we’ve got a whole year’s worth of comics under our belt we’ve decided to jump on the social media bandwagon with our own Facebook page. So please go ahead and “like” us, if you like us, and we’ll let you know whenever a new comic is posted.
