Elvie

This strip appeared in issue #05 of Linux Voice magazine. That edition included an article about one of my favourite games of all time: NetHack. Though I should note that I’ve never been much good at it, and the version I really loved was the GEM-based release on my old Atari Falcon. It had the graphical tiles that I prefer, could be driven entirely from the keyboard, but had enough of a GUI that the discoverability of otherwise unknown commands was high.
