Hi,
Is the Elvie character supposed to be transgender? The lower body looks male and the upper body looks female,
regards,
I’m clearly not seeing what you’re seeing. Elvie isn’t intended to be transgender, and I’m not sure what you’re seeing that makes the lower body look male to you. We wanted to make Elvie a strong, independent, intelligent woman in the tech world, whilst not (usually) making the strips focus too closely on her gender. We’d like to make her a positive role model, not a feminist crusader. We’re not trying to make a point about gender or sexuality, but rather about the tech and Free Software world more generally.
