This strip first appeared in issue #259 of Linux (Pro) Magazine. This was shortly after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, so we chose to colour the logo, and Elvie’s hair and T-shirt as a small gesture of solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

Elvie: I've been using computers for my entire life.
I've written code in everything from Python down to assembly.
I've designed microcontroller projects from the ground up.
I'm experienced in both hardware and software.
So why, after so many years of trying to get to the bottom of the problem…
